Update on polio eradication efforts in Afghanistan for January 2020
In January:
- No cases of wild poliovirus were reported
- 9.9 million children were vaccinated.
- Permanent transit teams vaccinated 1,743,299 children and cross-border teams vaccinated 117, 232 children
