The European Polio Union (EPU) is a European umbrella organization of national partners, bringing support to persons with polio and those affected by Post Polio Syndrome (PPS).  The aim of the EPU is to strengthen support for persons living with polio, and improve treatment (and initial diagnosis) of PPS.  As part of its remit, the group provides critical information on polio and PPS, both for patients, policy makers and healthcare professionals.

The EPU regularly publishes latest news and updates relating to its work through a newsletter targeted at partners and stakeholders.  The latest newsletter is now available – European Polio Union Newsletter – March 2018, and more broad information about the EPU is available on the European Polio Union website.

The partners of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) would like to commend the EPU for its work and the critical support it is providing to persons living with polio.
