  • 21 cases of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) were reported; one each in Tenkodogo, Banfora, Dedougou, Fada,Gaoua, Koudougou, Manga and Ouagadougou, three each in Bobo and Kaya, five in Dori and two in Ouahigouya. The number of cVDPV2 cases in the country is now 38 and they are all linked to the Jigawa outbreak in Nigeria and the Savanes outbreak in Togo.
