Update on polio eradication efforts in Afghanistan for July 2019
In July:
- 2 cases of wild poliovirus were reported.
- 2.1 million individuals were vaccinated.
- Permanent Transit Teams (PTTs) vaccinated 1 994 815 children, and cross-border teams vaccinated 147 622 children against polio.
